Here's a super-easy art project that my almost 2-year-old succeeded at just as much as my almost 4-year-old. We dipped heart cookie cutters in paint, then printed them onto construction paper. Wa-la! Doesn't it look fancy?

I really like how this turned out and linked to it on my Tumblr blog. I think Sweet Pea and I will have to try some "cookie cutter" painting one of these days.
I'm a Domestic Goddess, former teacher, and mother of 4, "N" age 6, "A" age 4, and "J" age 3 and "S" age 1. We love reading books and learning, both at home and away from home.
"N" is first grade age, though her skills and interests range from there to 6th grade. So we try to cover it all.
"A" is doing preschool, with a great interest in learning to read.
"J" is doing tot-school. She loves to be involved and doing what the big kids are doing.
